CCFA Standing Rules for Chapter Elections (Adopted November 2025)

These standing rules establish the procedures CCFA uses to conduct elections for officers, negotiators, and faculty representatives. The rules align with CTA’s chapter election guidelines and are designed to ensure a fair, transparent election process.

Brief summary: The document covers eligibility and nominations, required declaration of candidacy steps and deadlines, campaigning rules (including required disclaimers and restrictions on use of district systems/CCFA resources), ballot distribution (electronic and paper ballots), counting and reporting procedures (including observers and a teller’s report), challenge processes, and the faculty groupings used for representative seats.
